Helen Robertson, Director
Helen has honed her expertise by partnering with leading universities and business schools that are facing strategic portfolio issues, looking for innovation in student recruitment and services, or are wanting to improve their profile, processes or programmes. She adds invaluable experience by helping institutions understand their position in the market, and how that position can be further developed.
Helen is best known for bringing critical thinking, thorough investigative skills and persuasive diplomacy to the projects she works on.
Before founding Capstone Consultants, Helen held a UK board position as Communications and Research Director at Hobsons PLC, a leading higher education services provider.
Leyla Gilbey, Director
Leyla has dedicated her career to delivering success, with substantive and repeated results as a Commercial Director within the international higher education sector. She has developed new business units specialising in technology and enquiry management to drive international student recruitment.
For Capstone, she has worked in partnership with a broad portfolio of institutions to turn recruitment challenges into successful cohorts, normally within one recruitment cycle.
Known as a rainmaker for the businesses and clients she works with, Leyla brings a strong commercial edge to the academic arena. Before founding Capstone Consultants, Leyla was Sales Director for international student recruitment experts, Hobsons (part of DMGT).
